the staff greeted me warmly after my journey. the christmas themed decor in the foyer felt super cosy and beautiful. i found the on-site cafe offered delicious breakfast (especially the porridge!). the bar snacks were also great and the whiskey selection was extensive.

The shower temperature in my room was difficult to regulate. It switched between cold and very hot.

The room was very clean with nice amenities, and i found the bed to be very comfortable. I slept well (which is rare for me!). the room decor.

the staff was amazing, always ready to assist with anything i needed, including luggage assistance. tony was especially helpful and shared his vast whiskey knowledge. their attentiveness.

The breakfast had excellent quality and diversity, with big portions and beautiful presentation. i really enjoyed the scottish breakfast. It felt very authentic. the cafe, decorated like an art gallery, added to the charm.

The hotel has a superb location in a quiet area. It allowed for peacefulness and relaxation. it is a short walk to the central tram stop and bus station. i also found a cafe, theatre, and bookstore all within 10 minutes walk.
