The staff were very friendly and helpful. I found the breakfast to be excellent with many choices. The location is really good. It is an easy walk to many attractions.
The stairs to my room were a bit steep. I wasn't offered help with my luggage.

The hotel displayed lovely character with unique artworks. the staff were cute and helpful. i liked the hotel's decor. It had christmas themes in the foyer and it was very cosy. breakfast was delicious. The porridge was nice.
the room was quite small, with a single bed and a tiny desk. the window was not easy to open or close. i expected a better room for the price i paid, but it did not meet my expectations.

beautifully decorated roomgarden viewold facilities
the room was beautifully decorated and maintained a very high standard. the location was fantastic, i took a short walk to leith walk and enjoyed the proximity to holyrood. i loved the lovely garden views from the back.
the room i had was small and just fit a single bed. the facilities seemed a bit old, and the window wasn't easy to operate. i expected a bit more for the price paid.

my room was a single room garden view. the size WAS very disappointing. the window blind was broken. it remained stuck in the closed position. i did not get to see the garden view. airflow was limited. it got VERY hot. i did not sleep well.

the staff greeted me warmly after my journey. the christmas themed decor in the foyer felt super cosy and beautiful. i found the on-site cafe offered delicious breakfast (especially the porridge!). the bar snacks were also great and the whiskey selection was extensive.
The shower temperature in my room was difficult to regulate. It switched between cold and very hot.
